In November 2018, Congresswoman Wild was elected as the first woman—and first Democrat in 20 years— to represent Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.The district is located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley, and includes Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. 

She currently serves on the Foreign Affairs, Ethics and Education and Labor Committees.​​

Congresswoman Wild is on the list of 2020 Republican targets and already has a number of Republican opponents who have access to substantial funding.
