He served in the Obama Administration as the 82nd Attorney General of the United States from February 2009 to April 2015, the third longest serving Attorney General in U.S. history and the first African American to hold that office.
Kelly Ward Burton is the President of the National Redistricting Action Fund and former Executive Director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Saumya Narechania is the Director of States and Advocacy at the National Redistricting Action Fund. He also serves as the Campaign Director of All On The Line, a grassroots campaign out of the NRAF.
The National Redistricting Action Fund is is the 501(c)(4) affiliate of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. The NRAF’s mission is to raise awareness about the harmful impact gerrymandering has on state and federal policymaking; create and encourage participation in activities that defend democratic ideals; and increase grassroots engagement in every step of the redistricting process.
