The MA Democratic Party Platform supports the Fair Share Amendment!

 The proposed constitutional amendment will add a 4% surtax to incomes over $1 million. The additional revenue, estimated at $2 billion yearly, will be directed to public transportation and public education which are essential for the people of our state. 

 This proposal will be on the statewide ballot in November, 2022. It’s going to be a hard fought campaign. We need to start now if we are going to win.

 Please come to this Brookline/Newton Organizing Meeting on Tuesday, June 28 (on zoom).   We’ll learn more about what we need to do to engage grassroots voters.
