Join the Brookline Dems in support of Common Cause’s postcard campaign for voting rights!

The Freedom to Vote Act will protect our freedom to vote by ensuring that Americans can register to vote, cast a ballot, and have that ballot counted fairly. This is critical to preserving democracy, but we are going to have to push it through the Senate. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is looking for 10 Republicans to support the Act, but we are asking Democratic senators to publicly advocate that the filibuster be bypassed so that this legislation be passed.
Common Cause has organized a campaign to ask constituents of moderate senators to thank them for their support of the Freedom to Vote Act and ask them to help circumvent the filibuster to pass this critical legislation.
Postcards will be easy to fill out: They only require a short, handwritten message and placement of an address label and stamp on the card.
